I have curly hair?

and I srtaighten it sometime with (wet 2 straight) iron but when I want to go back to curls and I wet my hair some of it is still straight and it takes about 5 or 6 months to go back to just curly is there a faster way?

I have curly hair?

yeah, stop straightening it. my friend has natually curly hair and she used to straighten hers all the time (even though it looks gorgeous curly) and after a month or two she had so many split ends and she had to cut 6 inches off of her hair.

I have curly hair?

Have you tried using the paddles on it?

5 or 6 months to go back to normal from an IRON?!?! I hope not, because if that's true you're frying the hell out of your hair. I would advise you to not use chemical straighteners if you want your hair to be versatile, and there are some curl products if just water isn't enough to curl your hair up again.

Woah. What?!??! I have that same straightener... and my curls spring back to life with the slightest touch of rain... er maybe thats just me. But anyway, i don't really know why it takes months for your hair to return curly from using a STRAIGHTENER. I don't believe you... but just dont use as much heat on the straightener maybe.

I have curly hair?

I have Naturally Curly Red hair and damn my hair gets curly after seconds of water touching it when I use a Flat Iron. If this is from The STR8 hair care line for white girls who want straight hair then the person did it wrong. I have never used anything other then a Flat Iron cause I am scared that I will fry my hair so bad that I have to cut off most of it. So take care of your hair do normal weekly treatments of deep conditioning to take care of what you have.
