How can I straighten very curly hair using the following items:?

I have very curly hair, and need to straighten it. However, I barely have any money, and would only be able to do it with the following items:

*Hair Straighteners

*Moisturiser

*Mousse

*Hair spray

Is this possible and, if so, how can it be done?

How can I straighten very curly hair using the following items:?

Ok... Straightening very curly hair actually doesn't require much money at all, just a lot of patience ! Use a hair strightener ( a flat iron). Get you hair completly dry, either with a blow dryer by allowing it to air dry, then use rubber bands to put you hair up into seven or eight little pigtails all over your head, this seperates your hair. Take out a pig tail at a time and use the iron to straighten each piece...the end result is straight hair. My hair is very curly and this takes me about an hour... I usually wear it straight for two or three days.. before I wash it.

How can I straighten very curly hair using the following items:?

you need either hair dryer or flat iron with those products.

How can I straighten very curly hair using the following items:?

ok u only need the hair straightener DO NOT USE THE MOUSSE and use the hair spray AFTER u use the straightener

How can I straighten very curly hair using the following items:?

You need to apply the mousse then scrape back the hair into a bun or similar until it is dry (unless you have a hairdryer, which it doesn't sound like you have). Then use the moisturiser and hair straighteners - small sections at a time then use the hairspray.

How can I straighten very curly hair using the following items:?

I would suggest a hair straightening serum/balm/cream of some sourt, a round brush, a little mousse and a loooot of patience if you have a blowdryer. You could get all of this for around $10 (assuming you have a blowdryer)

Otherwise that there are alternatives such as blowdrying roundbrushes which will do the trick. They run about $20. Or you can get a straightener, get ceramic if you care for your hair. That'll run you about $30.

You can also get a regular for around $15. Just get a protective spray for your hair.

I'm estimating this all off of Wal Marts prices too.

How can I straighten very curly hair using the following items:?

My hair is really really curly, it is defiantly possible to do it with straighteners as that is what i do.

Do it after you have washed your hair, and i would suggest straightening your hair the night before the day you go out as it can be quite frizzy when first done.

Spray your hair with a protective spray to protect your hair from the heat, then just section the hair out and straighten with the irons. When you have finished you can spray your hair with a gloss or hair spray to keep it in place.

Hope this hepls!

How can I straighten very curly hair using the following items:?

I think you can dispense with those items and use only 2 items...

* Your finger

* an electrical socket

How can I straighten very curly hair using the following items:?

I would blow dry it, in sections, with a round soft bristled brush, and use the flat iron to touch it up. Do not use the flat iron unless your hair is completely dry, or it will literally boil the water in your hair. Never keep the flat iron in one spot, glide it over each strand. Use the hairspray to set it. Also helps to rub a little moisturizer in your palms, and then run your finger thru, especially at the ends.

How can I straighten very curly hair using the following items:?

I have super curly hair as well. The way I get it straight is blow dry it about 2/3 so it's just slightly damp, then separate it into sections (top of the head down),,,I typically do 3 sections but it depends on your hair's thickness. Go ahead and have your flat iron/hair straightener heated (get a ceramic one, they are better for your hair's condition and work better than metal ones...you can get one from Walmart for less than $20) Then take a big round brush (at least a 2.5 inch one)...conair has ceramic brushes that I like because ceramic heats well and helps to straighten hair better with less damage (got it from Sally's Beauty Supply)...and dry your hair the rest of the way by starting at the roots with the brush and pulling out to the ends, section by section, underside of your hair to the outerside. After each section, flat iron that section. Also, be sure to brush each section before you flat iron it...knots and flat irons are not friends. This always gets my hair super straight unless of course it's rainy, in which case, I'd suggest to just wear your hair curly.

I hate using products and will only occassionally spray a little hair spray on a brush then run it through my hair just to help set it.

Good luck.

How can I straighten very curly hair using the following items:?

All you need is the straighteners and maybe the hairspray

Brush your hair through to make sure there are no knots, then use a wide toothed comb and comb a section of hair as you pull the comb through run the straighteners behind, down the hair from root to tip. Do this with all your hair.

If you want you could then spray some hairspay onto a paddle shaped hairbrush and brush through the hair - this will get rid of any remaining frizz or fly-away bits and keep it under control for longer.

It isn't difficult but may take practice - good luck!

How can I straighten very curly hair using the following items:?

you dont need all that just put some gel in your hair while its wet, then you need a flat iron that gets hot like a chi or helen of troy ( which is cheaper than a chi)

How can I straighten very curly hair using the following items:?

wash your hair and when you are about to dry it or even if you dont ha;ve an hair dryer put some moisturiser on the end of your hair and cover the rest in mousse then let hair dry and straighten it by seperating the hair and doing it in layers to get your hair even starigheter as you straighten it use a comb at the same time and then to finish add your hair spray thats wot i do and my hair is naturally curly just dont do it all the time as your hair will become damaged. hope this helped

How can I straighten very curly hair using the following items:?

You should towel-dry your hair until it is about 80% dry. Then use a hair straightener like Bumble %26amp; Bumble Straight (best product for straightening by far) and work that through your hair. Then blowdry your hair in small sections until it is all dry. After that, if you have a flat iron, use that on your hair in small sections. Go over hair with an extremely small amount of lotion/moisture-lock product.

How can I straighten very curly hair using the following items:?

Blowdry it as straight as you can first using straightening mousse or serum, doesn't matter if it goes big. Then make it slightly greasy with some more product and in small sections use your straightners once you have gone over the whole thing lot go over it again but in larger sections and then apply a small amount of hair spray it'll take time but it will work but only with ghd cos theyr'e the best for any hair

Fast tips on how to tame naturally curly hair?

Hi all, I have pictures for a school activity in about 2 hours and I'm going to take a shower soon and I want to just wear my hair natural and curly/wavy but I'm not really sure as to how to tame it - it's not frizzy rediculous curly but it's that really frustrating curly that doesn't seem to curl the way I want and gets really kinky curls, especially in the back...all I have on me as far as hair products go is conditioner, shampoo, mousse, hairspray, and curling spray...I would also like to maybe blow dry it (so it's dry in time) but I don't have a diffuser. Help!

Fast tips on how to tame naturally curly hair?

My hair's naturally curly as well, I have learned that if I shower then pull my hair into a quick bun and then dry it. It has somewhat of a straight layer on top then some natural curl to it. A quick spritz with spray will help keep it in line

Fast tips on how to tame naturally curly hair?

Okay when you get out of the shower and its still wet just use any styiling gel and scrunch it! The curls should look alot more defined when they dry..and dont use the blow dryer! Good luck! :)

Fast tips on how to tame naturally curly hair?

Hmm, just don't really brush it out too much or it will go puffy .. just have it dry naturally when you go out of the shower .. brush where there's knots and then add some hairspray and a little mousse in a crunching motion to your hair .. it's called scrunching your hair ... best of luck !

Fast tips on how to tame naturally curly hair?

hm.. wash and condition.. put mouse n damp hair and blow dry... grab a hair curler and curl the annoygin curls that wont stay the way u want them 2..bring curling spray with u... and don't 4get to hairspray! that's something a lot of pple 4get..

Fast tips on how to tame naturally curly hair?

ok well take a shower and DONT shamppo cuz it dries out hair and makes it worse. use a conditioner and when you get out wrap hair in towel and get dressed and put on makeup/whatever else. then take it out while its stil pretty damp and put in the mousse while flipping head over and scrunching. flip you hair back over and spray the curling spray in areas where it needs it most. use a blowdryer on low or put head in front of a fan cu that works awesome. let dry for awhile and then put in hairspray. go in front of fan or use hairdryer again until its a little more dry and that should do it. if there are still areas where its not curly or how you want it, just wet it down and scrunch that area and while its curly dont touch it and just spray it with haiirspray.

IMPORTANT: dont touch your hair at all until its dry. if you have some leave in conditioner that would be put in first and that helps but dont put in too much or it weighs it down and makes it even less curly.

Im a guy with curly hair and I want a new hair style what can I do?

I have 3/4 finger length hair that is very curly but not ringlets and not frizzy. I want a new hairstyle that looks good, what should I go for. It is not frizzy enough for an afro ;) and it is not long enough to straighten although waiting for it to grow IS an option.

How do I turn my curly hair into wavy hair?

I have naturally curly, frizzy, but soft hair. It is a little below shoulder-length. I want something to weigh it down and straighten it out a little bit, to turn the curls into waves, but I do not want anything to make it hard. A friend told me to use straightening gel, and that itself should do it. I do not want to have to straighten my hair, then use a curling iron, I am just looking for a natural way to do it, if possible. I like the soft, natural look.

How do I turn my curly hair into wavy hair?

Def use a straightening cream. These dont fully Straighten curly hair. They just realx them. Use a shine spray for a nice sheen and to help with frizz.

How do I turn my curly hair into wavy hair?

Use a straightener to create th esoft curls. The straightener can create different wavy styles ranging from light curls to more heavy ones. After use hair moisturisers and spray your hair with products that can reduce the frizz and add shine to your hair.

After you can try running your hands down your waves to loosen it up more.

Side swept bangs for curly hair?

ok i want to get side swept bangs but i have wavy/curly hair. I don't want to have to straighten them along with my hair everyday, so i don't know if i should get them. Would they look good wavy? Also, do side swept bangs make your face look bigger or smaller?

Side swept bangs for curly hair?

If your hair is just a tiny bit wavy, they'd look great, but if its curly than you would have to straighten at least your bangs every day. (You could leave the rest of your hair curly.) Also, keep in mind that the shorter your hair is, the more it curls up, because there's less weight pulling it down.

Side swept bangs would make your face look smaller, but not by much.

Side swept bangs for curly hair?

Haha, I have the same question. Except my hair is very curly! But I would say to go to your hair dressers and see what she/he says. And if you want it straight, you just don't want to bother doing it everyday, see if you can get just your bangs permanently straightened.

Side swept bangs for curly hair?

I wouldn't get them, because they'd curl up and look bad. Sorry :( You'd have to straighten your hair.

What hairstyles work with curly hair?

I have super curly corksrew curls. My hair is very soft, but easily becomes unmanageble.I have to style it when wet, anyone with hair like mine knows its hoplessly fixed in place when dry. I usually wear it in a headband or in a ponytail

What hairstyles work with curly hair?

I have the same problem - this is what I do. You need a "curls" styling product as well as shampoo and conditioner, try Pantene and just follow the instructions.

Good luck!

Can over coloring my hair ruin my natural curls? i have naturally curly hair that has been very uncu

Within the last nine months or so my usually curly hair has been more wavy than curly. I used to have beautiful bouncy, sprial like curls, but now they have no body and and are more kinky (like I've had tight braids in for a long time) than curly. I'm wondering if too many hair color changes could be the culprit.

Can over coloring my hair ruin my natural curls? i have naturally curly hair that has been very uncurly latel

It depends; a number of things can cause the hair pattern to change it is unlikely that coloring could be the culprit unless your hair seems rather dry unruly and frizzy;if this is more of the problem you should probably use a deep conditioner at least once or twice weekly also ask your stylist not to apply the color root to ends every time you should only be touching up the roots and maybe pull thru the ends the last five to ten minutes with a soap cap. However the change could also be related to any medication changes, recent surgeries with anesthesia hormonal changes such as having babies or getting older

Can over coloring my hair ruin my natural curls? i have naturally curly hair that has been very uncurly latel

You might need a trim and deep conditioning. That worked for me, but I do find my hair is less curly now than when I was younger.

Can over coloring my hair ruin my natural curls? i have naturally curly hair that has been very uncurly latel

Any chemical treatment causes some damage every-time it is used. If it is used too much, too often it damages the hair enough to change everything about it.

Can over coloring my hair ruin my natural curls? i have naturally curly hair that has been very uncurly latel

trim and contidion. It it is really damaged you may need to cut more hair off and condiion more often. Really, with dyed hair conditioning the tips of your hair is a best way to one keep the color longer and two to keep hair healthy.

Can over coloring my hair ruin my natural curls? i have naturally curly hair that has been very uncurly latel

I am almost 50 year old and have been having my hair colored since I was 12 year old, hairdresser in the family. I have very curly hair. Always have, I myself have never notice my curls changing with hair dyes but different shampoos and conditioners can cause it

Can over coloring my hair ruin my natural curls? i have naturally curly hair that has been very uncurly latel

i don't think colouring would ruin natural curls , my brothers got curly hair when young but turn straight when older...i thinks its the age....

Can over coloring my hair ruin my natural curls? i have naturally curly hair that has been very uncurly latel

I had that issue after initially dying my hair once. I have curly hair that forms ringlets and such and after dying it it lost its bounciness (to be honest, I'm not complaining since I don't like curly hair on myself).

To get your hair back to being curly, I found that putting more conditioner in helped as did towel drying my hair (don't rub it or it'll get frizzy, just put it up in the towel so it has a chance to bunch together and curl up before it dries). Either that or let it dry down, but don't blow-dry it.

A trim couldn't hurt either....

Is there any gel/products that can make curly hair more straight/wavy? If so, what is the products n

I have naturally bouncy, really curly hair. But I don't like to wear it hat way because it is hard to manage. I'm trying to find hair products that will make my curly hair less curly, or better yet, wavy. And it will definately make it easier for me to straighten.

THanx!

I have the same texture hair. I find to better straighten my hair and have a shiny naturally look straight smooth hair Biosilk Therapy is the best product out there.

It's alled BIOSILK THERAPY. That's the only thing out of the product line that is good. It's like Hair serum. CLear in color.

I've tried biosilk shampoo but didn't like it. It's just that one product.

It's also very expensive. The biggest size probably cost about $60-$70.

BUy the smallest size for about $12 first. See if it is good for you.

Try Pantene Superstraight shampoo and conditioner. Blow dry your hair in 4 sections while brushing. Just pin up the other parts until you are ready. Then you can french braid your hair and sleep on it overnight then in the morning it will be wavy or easy to straighten. Get a maxiglide straightener. It uses steam and straightens fast.

How do i get my very curly hair to look like west african coarse hair?

well i have a mini afro, if u see me in the street it looks coarse but it is actually very curly, strange thing is when i get a head shave it doesent end up looking like David James' short hair for example, it looks very straight, which is why i dont like cutting my hair short, but i have loads of caps that i want to wear but cant wear with an afro.

any suggestions on lotions or creams that will give my hair a more coarse, west african look?

thanks

How do i get my very curly hair to look like west african coarse hair?

You may get a texturizer. Do not allow it to stay in long.

How do i get my very curly hair to look like west african coarse hair?

Not really. Most ethnic products cater to people who want to make their hair smoother and straighter, not thicker. There isn't any way to make curly hair more curly. Especially when you cut your hair very short, your natural curl pattern will show and considering that you don't have an "afro" curl pattern, it wont look that way when cut short.

Just be glad with the type of hair you've got! Personally, your hair would look good to me :-)

How to harness naturally curly hair?

I see alot of ppl who know how to control thier naturally curly hair, they make it so it still looks kinda wet but its all in place and neat, do you know what I mean? My hair is naturally wavy, very thick, and frizzy, how can I harness that natural curl so that everything ends up looking nice and clean?

How to harness naturally curly hair?

USE GEL....OR MOUSSE....THERES A LOT OF GOOD SPRAY GELS YOU CAN USE PUT IT ON WHEN YOUR HAIR IS WET AND JUST USE A PICK OR FINGER (NEVER BRUSH IT WITH A HAIRBRUSH) TO GET IT THROUGH HAIR AND LET DRY

How to harness naturally curly hair?

you need proper hair styling for that

How to harness naturally curly hair?

This style can be tried using traditional rag rollers. If your hair is waist length or longer, rag rollers would be a nice way to create curls.

Start by washing hair with shampoo and conditioner designed for your type, texture and current condition of hair.

Blot the hair with towel and gently squeeze excess moisture.Let hair air dry until 80-90% dry.Begin workin from one side of the head to the other using a wide tooth comb or hair pick and separate hair into 1-2 inch sections.Starting at the end of the hair section, roll the hair around the strip of your prepared rag curlers. With rag curlers one can make the hair sections as large or small as you wish as long as your strip of rag is long enough to completely encase your hair.

Roll the section of hair up from the ends to your scalp. The tighter you roll the rag curler, the tighter the resulting curl. You can either secure the rag curlers with bobby pins or you can tie them at the ends to hold them in place against the scalp. When your entire head has been put in rollers, have to wait few hrs or sit under a hood dryer on medium heat to get the curls to "set".

Hey tell me if it works, i found good results.good luck.

How to harness naturally curly hair?

i also have naturally thick and curly hair. It used to be frizzy but now what i do is Shampoo and condition it in the shower when i get out i spray in leave in conditioner and then i put in a serum so it doesn't get frizzy, After it dries i lightly spray it with a hair spray to make sure it doesn't frizz at all during the day. Then for the whole day my hair doesn't frizz and looks super healthy.

How to harness naturally curly hair?

i also have very thick and curly hair. i use thermasilk mousse and loreal pumpin' curls. when i get finished washing it, i brush through it one time while it is still wet. if i brush it out when it is dry it'll look like a pomaranian dog sitting on top of my head! i put the mousse on when my hair is wet ( after i brush through), then flip my head over and scrunch/shake/toussle my hair a little and then flip back upright to spray it with a little hairspray. then i flip it over again and blow dry upside down for a few minutes and then upright for a few minutes. after it dries pretty much all the way through, i use the pumpin curls to tame a little. just by spraying a little and gently scrunching my hair a few times. then hands off.

2 tips on blow drying: #1 keep your hands out! if you keep touching my hair it will get frizzier. try to keep your hands out as much as you can. #2 never blow dry up...meaning never hold your dryer at the bottom of your hair pointed towards the top. hold the dryer at the top of your head pointing down to the end of your locks.

and if all of this doesn't work you can still think about using a straightner like i do sometimes! good luck!

What is the best way to cut out curly hair using photoshop 7.0?

curly hair is hard to trim when using an eraser,, what is the best way to trim the curly hair so you can still leave the beauty of it, my nephew has curly hair and it is so beautiful, but i have a hard time editing his pictures because of it,,

What is the best way to cut out curly hair using photoshop 7.0?

Try using the magnetic lasso tool with a high amount of feathering. You can select the negative space, cut it out, and then use the Smudge tool to touch up the edges and re-form strands that got messed up.

When working with such things, it's helpful to zoom in as much as you possibly can. If you can zoom in enough, you might even be able to get in there with a regular soft-edged brush, or fill in one pixel at a time.

You can also consider altering the background to resemble the background visible through the translucent bits of his hair. Try altering the tone of the new background by going over it with transparent brushes and effects like "color dodge" and "saturation." You can make the area near his head blend into the rest of the background like there's a variation in lighting. This also gives you a chance to get creative with your backgrounds. In the process, you can meet halfway by using a small, transparent brush with the background color to fix up areas of the hair that just don't match up right, for example if his head is completely backed by blue sky. Remember also that with hair, we are less likely to see blue sky peeking through than we are to just see a general illuminating effect from the sun that overrides any background color.

If you're trying to just erase, you have less options for the hardness of the brush... but again, with enough patience, you can erase one pixel at a time on high zoom.

Do you have a Wacom graphics tablet, or are you using a mouse?

Shampoo/Conditioner lines for very curly hair?

Well I've been looking through other questions and answers and I've also experimented with actual products.. I used Dove for the longest time but I guess I eventually got sick of it, it seemed to make my hair too soft. Which of these products do you think is the best for very curly hair? Experience prefered please...

*Aussie

*Herbal Essences "Totally Twisted"

*Tresemme

I've done Mane N' Tail but I really want something that smells good too while being healthy for hair at the same time, if that's possible. I'm going for the wet look, (not DRIPPING like jheris and not hard/sticky) not poofed out and dry. Any other suggestions would help.. I really don't wanna waste my money on products that are just going to sit in my closet and not get used. Thanks!

Shampoo/Conditioner lines for very curly hair?

I like the Mant N' Tale products best but your right when it comes to smell but I have found that after doing my hair I then put on perfume and AFTERWARDS run my purfumed hands through my hair and it smell good. Don't spray your hair directly though ( can eventualy dry your hair out ) and also if your hair has static you can spray perfume on your hair brush or comb and comb/brush your hair and the static will go away. Hope this helps. As far as what products are best I still think Man N' Tale work best for the look your wanting.

Shampoo/Conditioner lines for very curly hair?

John Frieda makes a line designed for curly hair. I think that it is called Frizz Ease.

The shampoo and conditioner are fantastic. There is also a spray leave in conditioner that keeps your hair frizz free and really helps define curls.

They sell a curling creme, but I don't think that it is worth having. Dove styling creme works just as well and is one third of the price.

Shampoo/Conditioner lines for very curly hair?

I have very curly hair as well and live in a very humid climate. The ones I have found that work best for me is the Matrix line for curly hair. Also if you want something that smells good and that will loosen the curl a little, I use Garnier Frutis Shampoo/conditions for sleek styles and use the smoothing milk in this line as well. It loosens the curl, so its not so tight, smells good and keeps it from being to poofy or stiff.

I need more hair styles for curly hair?

Hmmm.... I have thick, blond, curly hair and I normaly just wear it down with some gel-ish product, but there's nothing else to do with it!!!!! I really want a different hairstyle.

I need more hair styles for curly hair?

if you want more defined curls that you can control:

buy those soft curlers and sleep in them. it is soooo easy and you save so much time in the morning. you just take them out and only brush the top of your hair otherwise you brush right through the curls. then use hairspray, not mousse. ive found that a great brand of hairspray is matrix hairspray. and for looser, messier curls, you separate each curl in two. it is a more casual, less shirley temple look.

then for waves, sleep in braids. (the number depending on how wavy you want your hair. i would probably recommend about eight or so) then you just take them out in the morning and just brush the top of your hair. you can use hairspray, but i usually dont need it, but then again, my hair holds waves really well......

and if you shower in the morning, scrunch your hair with mousse and it looks pretty good but might get a little frizzy.

and as for just regular hairstyles, i would try sidebangs or whispy bangs instead of thick ones......dont know about the cut i might have to see the shape of your face, sry....

you can also do buns, because they are pretty in, or low pigtails, but you might be a little old for them, but my sister in college looks cute in them so i dont know.....

as for hairbands, very cute and in!!! definitely!!!

u could wear your hair half-up, leaving your bangs down.....

hope i helped!!! good luck!!!

Any tips for fine, curly hair?

I have fine naturally curly hair that is flat on top towards the scalp but always fluffs up at the ends. I want to reverse this with the least product possible. Anyone know of anything I can do? I am also looking for a good hairstyle for this type of hair(also wanting bangs). It comes just past my shoulders so im guessing its medium-long. Thank You!

Any tips for fine, curly hair?

Sounds like you should even it out by cutting it much shorter.. even out the texture of your hair.

See here.. i just found this site:

http://www.haircolordiva.com/hair_cut_ha...

I'd think the curly hair bob would be good for you

Help with this cut for curly hair?

I have long curly/wavy hair. I want to chop it off to where it comes just above my shoulders. But I want the cut to nicely frame my face. A long time ago when I cut my long hair short, I wasn't happy with the results coz it looked "boxy". The bottom part of the cut wasn't sitting close to my neck if you know what I mean.

I don't want it to look boxy. I want the cut to stick close to my face and neck frame. So what should I be exactly telling the stylist so she really understands my need?

I wish I could draw a photo here...to show you the way I'd like and the way I don't like.

Do you think that for this cut, the hair should be cut in layers?

Or should all strands be the same length?

Thanks so much for ur help.

bring in pics and ask the hairdresser what can be done to make it less boxy.

i would say blowdrying your hair into and around your neck would give the best results

Help with this cut for curly hair?

i dunno ask the hair dressder

Help with this cut for curly hair?

a hair cut that just reaches your shoulders.

its a simple cut

but it looks really good

especially for wavy hair

my hair is uncontrollably curly so i cant do that

:(

(or cut it in layers ((i'm in school and my friend wants to comment too)))

Help with this cut for curly hair?

I have curly hair. Yes, it has to be cut in layers. Google short curly hairstyles, find a picture of the cut you want, print it out and bring it to the salon.

Here's one of the sites you might find your hairstyle at: http://www.curly-hair-styles-magazine.co...

Also, when making your appointment ask who is the best hairdresser for curly hair and have them do it. I think curly styles can be difficult to cut so you'll want someone who knows the quirks of curly hair.

Good Luck.

Can the character of my coarse, curly hair be changed without drying it worse than it is?

My hair is frizzy, pretty dry, and obstinant. Can the hair be silkened up in any way chemically? How do celebrities with curly hair have such shiny, soft smooth hair?

Can the character of my coarse, curly hair be changed without drying it worse than it is?

Whenever you have time, even while your sleeping just dampen your hair and coat it with conditioner, put a plastic bag over it and leave it in as long as you have time. Make sure you bag it though, that holds your body heat in and helps to allow you hair to absorb the moisture. Also i would suggest that you buy a styling pomade for curly hair.John Freida has one pick it up its worth a shot. You should try to not blow dry it,you can put the pomade on your damp hair and letit air dry,it will look great.

How can i get really curly hair like latina hair ?

i have stick straight hair. its ugly and boring. can someone tell me what to do to get really curly hair besides a perm.

How can i get really curly hair like latina hair ?

um, i dont' think there's any "latina hair", many latinas have different types of hair. i'm latina and my mom's hair is just like yours, pin straight, but mines is wavy and curly (which she envies).

do you mean like, scrunching your hair?? with hairspray and gel?? if so, when you get out of the shower, towel-dry your hair and comb it out and separate it into 2 chunks, like if you were gonna do pig tails, and then with one chunk, divide it horizontally into 2 pieces. and scrunch each part individually with gel, scrunch scrunch until your hand like falls off, but not really, and then after you think you've had enough of scrunching with gel, finish it off with hairspray and go crazy with it!

OR, you could also sleep with medium sized rollers in your hair and lightly spray your hair with "spray gel" before you put the rollers in.

How can i get really curly hair like latina hair ?

a perm is really about it unless you put it in hot rollers everyday

How can i get really curly hair like latina hair ?

perm it

How can i get really curly hair like latina hair ?

u can perm it.. but there is no going back. Once permed you will need to allow hair to grow back straight. Using straightners after a perm will fry it. Good luck

How can i get really curly hair like latina hair ?

What?? latina hair?? Latin women all have diffrent hair..Im a "Latina" and my hair is NOT curly..

How can i get really curly hair like latina hair ?

Maybe try rolling it around big rollers and sleeping in them--- if you could stand it. My hair is naturally wavy and of course I want your hair!

How can i get really curly hair like latina hair ?

a caruso hairsetter is awesome for straight hair, and you can buy extra rollers if you have long hair or want a tighter curl get the smallest rollers ^_^ when i want the romantic hair you see on celebs i use the medium size rollers but the small and extra small rollers will give you kinky curls ^_^ plus the curls last a full day even without hairspray unlike using a curling iron. i think you can still buy the caruso at sally's but if you can't it's a hairsetter/ rollers kit that uses steam so it's damage free to your locks ^_^

How can i get really curly hair like latina hair ?

Hi there. I am latina and I want to say that straight hair is very pretty, its funny how people always want something different to what they have (I always go to the salon to make my hair lookk straight like yours!).

If you want to get your hair curly in a natural and non dangerous way here is an advice: First, you have to have it wet or at least humid, then you need little pieces of foil (Im sorry, my english is not perfect and I dont know if I used the right word but I'm talking about that silver paper you use in the kitchen). With the paper, you need to do many many long strings, like 30 pieces of 13 cm each, and then, you grab a small portion of hair and roll them around the paper, from the tips to the root of your hair (head) and then you tie the two ends of the paper string. Do this with the rest of your hair and keep it like this for 2 hours (or more, if your hair is toooo straight) and when you're going to remove the paper, do it carefully, unroll it, dont pull it. The more rolles you make, the more natural your hair will look....

I hope you've understood me:S

What to do with poofy/frizzy/curly hair?

My hair is really realy thick. Not only is it really thick, but its really curly/wavy, and is majorly frizzy/poofy. I've tried straightening it but whenever i go outside in less that 20 minutes its gone. Also when I mousse it my hair looks allright, but when i wake up the next morning its worse than before. Im running out of options! I want straight hair, but i've almost given up any hope of doing that without damaging my hair.

What to do with poofy/frizzy/curly hair?

ok, I hope your not washing your hair everyday because that can make it worse, also constantly touching your hair during the day.

I recommend Fekkai shampoo and conditioner because it doesnt contain alcohol AND its enriched with olive oil. Perfect for your hair.

What to do with poofy/frizzy/curly hair?

My hair is really really thick and kind of poofy/frizzy and naturally curly like yours sounds. When I want to go curly, I take a shower that morning, brush my hair, apply Suave Maximum Hold mousse all over, blowdry it a little, and put a light coat of Aussie Hi Hold hairspray (the best smelling hairspray I've ever used!) on it. When I want it to be straight, I take a shower the night before, brush and blowdry it completely, and use FX Straightening Spray for Flat Irons that is also a de-frizzant and has heat memory (purple bottle, can be found in walmart for roughly $5 or less) when I straighten it with my Chi. Then I re-straighten it the next morning and also apply a light coat of the Aussie hairspray I mentioned above.

What to do with poofy/frizzy/curly hair?

Get the Maxi Glide flat iron! It comes with an instructional DVD and an anti-frizz serum! I have one. Works on all types of hair. I personally have very thick and nappy hair. This works miracles!

What to do with poofy/frizzy/curly hair?

get the maxi glide. believe me, it works. i've owned one for years. best bday present i've ever bought myself next to buying my house.

What to do with poofy/frizzy/curly hair?

omgosh tell me if u get a good answer for this PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE..............i use pro touch straigntner....works good and i use tress something or other hair spray that is supposed to be 24 hour humidity resistant!!!

What to do with poofy/frizzy/curly hair?

After straightening it use hairspray, good luck.

What to do with poofy/frizzy/curly hair?

Try straightening it and using a de-frizzing serum and/or spray.

Is it possible to turn curly hair to straight hair?

I used to have pin straight hair...then I got a hair cut and its now curly...I hate using a straightener! how can i make it stay straight??

Is it possible to turn curly hair to straight hair?

im the same way

you can get your hair japanese straightened at any salon

its a permanent condition and lasts like 6 months!

Is it possible to turn curly hair to straight hair?

You can Try to blow dry it straight, but it wont look as smooth and shiney if you dont use a straightener. Or you could get it relaxed

Is it possible to turn curly hair to straight hair?

you can get it chemically straightened but that fries the heck out of your hair. i would straighten it.

Is it possible to turn curly hair to straight hair?

i have really long, thick curly hair.....and i want to find out the same thing......i want straight hair too....

Is it possible to turn curly hair to straight hair?

some people blow dry their hair every time they got out of the shower to keep it straight

and some people say they had perm their hair straight. dunno how they done that, but they say they went to the salon or hair stylest and the people there permanently straighten her hair, but she has to go back periodically as her hair grows out.

Is it possible to turn curly hair to straight hair?

Its possbile that the cut is giving u the curls. But its a lil impossible, that you have pin straight hair and it changes with one hair cut. Best is you ask your stylist. Did u like use lotta chemicals in ur hair?? If yes then its possible, over the time use of excessive chemicals can change ur hair texture. Just leave it at that, straighten ur hair with blowdryin for now and then after ur hair is healthy then go to ur stylist and see what she suggest.

Is it possible to turn curly hair to straight hair?

You could always use a chemical straightener but I would recommend a stylist do it ....but if you do it yourself here are some you might want to look at. But again, I think this is a very delicate process and you might want a stylist to do it so it is done right ...and safe... But you might want to just let your hair kinda rest for right now ....Do some deep conditions a few times a week and air dry it as much as possible. After awhile you should be able to use a flat iron or look into getting it chemically straightened.

Solutions for extremley thick curly hair??

I have been growing my hair for the last 7 - 8 months but I am almost at the point of giving up, My hair is so thick and curly its impossible to do anything with it. When its dry its a 6 inch high afro look alike. I can only slick it back which makes me look like some 80's wanna be. I was tempted to get it chemically straightened but have been a wee bit scared off with alot of comments that i've come across. Ideally i dont want to touch the length or 'thin it out much'. Any ideas on what I can do?? Thanks...

Solutions for extremley thick curly hair??

so you got a jewfro?

Solutions for extremley thick curly hair??

seriously, thinning it out will make a huge difference (i have curly hair toooooo!) it makes it nicer curls, but more defined and less 'poofy'!

How do you make your hair super curly?

i have wavy hair but not that wavy but its deffinatly not pin straight.. i want really curly hair like oprah winfrey and 10 times curlier.. what can i do?

How do you make your hair super curly?

Moose!!!!!!!!

How do you make your hair super curly?

when your hair is damp put in styling cream and as it drys use a curling iron and then u blow dry it

How do you make your hair super curly?

My hair varies between wavy and straight girl, I know where you're coming from.

Pin-curl it. You get a load of bobby pins (some say not to use them because it dents your curl but I have never noticed it and I use barrettes) or barrettes of some kind, and twist your hair around your finger while it's wet, then pin it to your scalp. Do so with all your hair, then sleep on it or let it dry. When it's dry, unclip it, and voila! Your hair is super curly. :)

That, or buy a curling iron.

How do you make your hair super curly?

Get a perm from a salon that does hair for colored people. They are also great with braids and hair extensions.

How to you keep curly hair nice?

When ever I brush my hair it hurts like crazy!!!!!!!! only answers from people with real answers( Know about curly hair)

How to you keep curly hair nice?

And what if I didn't have a real answer . . . .

Anyway, use a very good shampoo and conditioner for one. You can go for the expensive stuff found at salons, but I've found that Pantene's formula for curly hair works wonderfully for me. I barely have to brush my hair out after that.

When styling, I use a little bit of gel and a leave-in conditioner. I mix them together in my hands before I apply them. It tends to make the gel apply evenly.

Also, it's a good idea to keep it trimmed. Split-ends and unhealthy hair can make it impossible to deal with.

Good luck!

How to you keep curly hair nice?

Don't brush it..

How to you keep curly hair nice?

biosilk

How to you keep curly hair nice?

use a better conditioner....start from the bottom and work your way up...when you brush....

How to you keep curly hair nice?

i have long ( down to my butt) curly hair. You have to use a good conditioner as you know in order to get knots out. Your scalp is probably tired like mine is from brushing so damn hard from the knots. use pantene smooth and sleek conditioner honestly its affordable and works better than the more expensive products. Then use moose not gel . alot of people use gel and it looks raunchy sometimes. I use gel only sometimes but i have been using moose, brushing the moose threw my hair and then using a finishing spray to lock it. good luck girl!

How to you keep curly hair nice?

Try Ouidad Products. It works wonders for curly hair. Ouidad.com

How to you keep curly hair nice?

i put a little hair lotion on my hair before i brush it to make it silkier and gives it shine

How to you keep curly hair nice?

i have curly hair too. I only brush it after my shower. Use lots of conditioner. you could also use a DE-tangle on dry hair i do this with my daughter she was also blessed with curly hair like me. to help with frizzy hair I use john frieze hair serum. never brush hair when its dry it adds to the frizz.

How to you keep curly hair nice?

Never brush it. When ur in the shower and you have conditioner in ur hair, take a wide tooth comb and comb through, then rinse out. The tangles will be out, ur hair less frizzy, and no ouchies. And u dont have to do this everyday either. Remember... brushing = bad!

How to you keep curly hair nice?

use special shampoo and conditioner formulated for curly hair

How to you keep curly hair nice?

I have friends with curly hair that say it is a pain in the butt. A lot of people use hair moose to keep it down. You can also put it up into a pony tail so that you don't have to deal with it.

How to you keep curly hair nice?

either comb ur hair only right when u get out of the shower or comb witha wide toth comb. That way, the curls wont separate and make ur hair frizzy.

How to you keep curly hair nice?

you need to start out with a good shampoo and condtioner. After that, you need to use a good gel. Combonation of all that together should give you pretty curls.

How to you keep curly hair nice?

Don't brush it! After a few days your hair will be PERFECT! i have tried it!

How to you keep curly hair nice?

condition alot and use a wide toothed comb....be gentle.

Need extensions advice for thin curly hair! Hair stylists, please help me out!?

I have thin curly shoulder length layered hair, and it's virgin, no chemicals or dyes in it. I want Great Lengths, but think they will be to expensive. Would glued in extensions really be that damaging? What would happen? I would maintain them perfectly, and follow all directions. How much do they usually run (I'm in the Sarasota, Fl. area)? I'm looking to spend $200 or so. Would the great lengths be possible with this budget? Any advice would be great, especially from any hair stylists out there!

Need extensions advice for thin curly hair! Hair stylists, please help me out!?

Great Lengths would most likely be way past that budget, dear - usually starting @ 1000.00 and up. Try to stay away from the GLUE type extensions, if you can help it - especially with this hair.

Have you looked into Cinderella Hair? I know it would be closer to your budget (a little over, still, but not by too much) and they're definately just as good.

Need extensions advice for thin curly hair! Hair stylists, please help me out!?

Hey, okay I am not a stylist or anything but I research hair extensions all the time because soon I am going to be getting some done.

My salon here does fusion hair extensions and pinch braids. The fusion is human hair pieces with special wax on the tips then they take it and melt it onto the root of your hair. You can get the colors changed whenever but you need to come in when your real hair grows 2 inches to get them changed.

The pinch braids were less expensive by $200, but then again the stylist said they aren't as natural looking in the wind and what not cuz your hair extensions are just braided into your hair.

She measured my head and I would need about 156 pieces for my head and she totaled it out to about $1,125.

So $200 would probably not be enough, but I don't know the prices on Great Lengths hair extensions.

Mousse for thick fairly curly hair ?

Anyone have any products that will make my hair less frizzy and more..smooth,and not so dry looking. You know, like more moisturized. My hair is long, and thick. Sort of curly/wavy. It doesn't look HORRIBLE,I just want it more....together-looking not so looseand dry.. If that even makes sense.. /:

Something to put in when it's wet,so as it dries,it looks nice.

..Thanks(:

What do you like best? Straight hair or curly hair?

I work in an office and I have curly hair...when I straigthened it yesterday all the men were like ..it looks sooo much better...I like it like that...I like my hair curly but i do get bored...

What do you like best? Straight hair or curly hair?

I think whatever you feel most comfortable with! The men that were passing comments.....were they oil paintings?? Probably not, so don't listen to other people! Do what makes you happy!

What do you like best? Straight hair or curly hair?

midle of it....

What do you like best? Straight hair or curly hair?

I love having straight hair.

I started to say that I think it's better to have straight hair because if I want it curly, I can just curl it.... but, then it dawned on me that if a girl with curly hair wants straight hair, she can just straighten it. LOL

Either way, I love having straight hair. I think it's overall more versatile.

What do you like best? Straight hair or curly hair?

curly

What do you like best? Straight hair or curly hair?

Curly or straight, its all in how you do your hair. I do the same thing, one day I have it bone straight and the next I have big bouncy curls.

What do you like best? Straight hair or curly hair?

...I like it curly mostly in the summer and straight off and on in the winter...I feel the same as you sometimes you just want to switch it up...HIGH FIVE to all the curly chicks...

What do you like best? Straight hair or curly hair?

it varies from person to person, i like curly hair

What do you like best? Straight hair or curly hair?

It the fad nowadays....and people get to notice those with straight hair coz they are always in the commercials. One thing is that you have dramatically changed your looks...that's why everyone should notice it. It's a bit costly to maintain it, though. Have fun girl !!!

What do you like best? Straight hair or curly hair?

To each his own as my grandma would say. Whatever you like best is what counts.

What do you like best? Straight hair or curly hair?

straight hair i tell you but having true curly hairs are somewhat unique..

What do you like best? Straight hair or curly hair?

Straight is good sometimes but curly is much more interestin i think.

What do you like best? Straight hair or curly hair?

I would prefer curly hair because its easy to maintain. Follow your heart, what makes you feel comfortable

What do you like best? Straight hair or curly hair?

straight hair is ok and goooood tooo, but i prefer curly one,so from time do some change and make ur hair straight!

What do you like best? Straight hair or curly hair?

I think that if you wore your hair straight all the time that men in your office would get board with it... its up to you how you look my friend has curly hair and she loves it for day to day use but going out she straightens it... like changing her personality or something for a night. she literally lets her hair down...

What do you like best? Straight hair or curly hair?

i like straight hair...coz i have curly hair.....and it is human nature to not be satisfied with wat one has...lolz

What do you like best? Straight hair or curly hair?

curly is ok, but i prefered scrunched (with the gel and hairspray and stuff...) but straight is always nice, but it varies with different people...... i have scrunched hair and straighten it and everyone thinks it's great! but it shouldn't matter what everyone else thinks, it's what you think. wear it curly sometimes and stright other times!

What do you like best? Straight hair or curly hair?

I think both are nice when it's soft looking not frizzy

What do you like best? Straight hair or curly hair?

I've got really curly hair and I hate straightening it. It takes long, comes out as soon as I wash it, and there's less styles do do with it.

What do you like best? Straight hair or curly hair?

well both are nice

sometimes straight hair looks better sometimes curly hair looks better

depends on the shape of ur face or what ur wearing

Please explain my weird curly hair phenomena?

ok, I was born with hair straight as a board. no curl whatsoever. I'm 41 and for about 7 years I got spiral perms then about 7years ago, I decided to cut my hair short. So, I did. when it grew back long it curled naturally, like I had a spiral perm and ever since then it has been curly. I want to know how this is possible? what caused it? now 7 years later, I cant make it look straight unless I spend alot of time and energy on it. What gives?

Please explain my weird curly hair phenomena?

I dont know why this happens to a few lucky ones ( my hair is naturally straight and i spend big money to get curls) a friend of mine when we were little (we were about 6) had this super long hair to her waist and she cut off one of her ponytails so her mom didnt have a choice but to cut it short and it grew back super curly and still is 36 years later

Please explain my weird curly hair phenomena?

your hair doesnt stay one way forever, when i was younger i had wavey hair, got older,it got cut a lot then went curly and now further on its kinda straight

Please explain my weird curly hair phenomena?

straight hair that gets permed sometimes stays permanent. even if it's cut.

Please explain my weird curly hair phenomena?

It could possibly be hormone changes. I've heard that some women's hair changes at puberty or during pregnancy.

Please explain my weird curly hair phenomena?

I can think of two possibilities. 1. you always had a kind of wavy hair never straight and you moved to a different climate with more humidity. 2. Hormonal changes.

Please explain my weird curly hair phenomena?

I think I understand your situation. I was born with thick board straight hair, but once I hit puberty, I started cutting really short - that was the style back then... Once I let it grow out, it too was wavy curly. I never permed it before it curled up. Same thing happened to my mother when she hit puberty too. I think that maybe hormonal changes may have caused this - this might be what happened to you as well.

Help with split ends and curly hair?

I have almost shoulder length hair, its thick but fine and naturally curly I have really bad split ends...are there any good hair care products out there that I can use, without drying out my hair?

Help with split ends and curly hair?

Trim ur hair. That might work. To maintain healthy ends keep them moisturized so they don't dry out again. You could apply castor or jojoba oil to ur ends (when wet) after ur've washed it. Do this everyday though. A little goes a long way so don't over do it with the oils.

Also this might sound crazy but shampoo less frequently. Commercial shampoos are very harsh on curly hair and stripes it dry. Im not sayin never shampoo however washing once or twice a week is going to dry ur hair out. Try once a month. In between u should try washing with conditioners. Works for me.

Another option if u must wash ur hair every week u could find a shampoo thats more gentle. Find one that doesn't contain sodium laureth sulfate or any kind of sulfate. Hope this helps.

Help with split ends and curly hair?

get a trim, no hair product completely solves the issue...ive tried.

once your hair gets split ends again, get it trimmed.

Help with split ends and curly hair?

Cut at least an inch in your hair to remove split ends then condition using a deep conditioner for dry/damaged hair.Use shampoo only 3x a week but condition everyday.

Help with split ends and curly hair?

There is only one thing you can do for a "split end" and that's CUT. There is nothing on the market that will repair a "split end".

I've been a licensed cosmetologist for over thirty years.

How do you make curly hair str8?

Most people hate having curly hair just like me and I would love to know how to have straight hair.

How do you make curly hair str8?

lots of ways...like hair rebond, hair extenso, hair relax and those hair creams but if I were you I would rather choose curly hair than straight hair because a lot of celebs are into curly hair

How do you make curly hair str8?

Hair straightening creams and other commercially sold products can either make or break your hair so it is better to have your hair straightened by a professional hairdresser.

How do you make curly hair str8?

hair straitner

How do you make curly hair str8?

perm the hair

How do you make curly hair str8?

well if you are african american...relax it..you can get a home kit or go to the beauty shop

How do you make curly hair str8?

go to a salon.

How do you make curly hair str8?

Well, you can straight iron it or give yourself a straight perm.

How do you make curly hair str8?

hair straighteners or a 'relaxer' ie a cemical that forces the hair straight, stays straight for quiter a while without the everyday straightening with straighteneers.

cor a mouthful that was

How do you make curly hair str8?

use a chi straightening iron, or go to a salon and get it chemically straightened. its harsh but works

How do you make curly hair str8?

Buy a ceramic or titanium flat iron. Use a heat protective spray or cream before you use it and make sure your hair is dry when you use the flat iron. I have curly hair too and I know what it's like, but I've come to accepting my curly hair (and found a way to tame them) so I don't straighten my hair as much.

How do you make curly hair str8?

If you want it to be permanently straight I would go to a stylist. Don't try to do this yourself. The chemicals are very strong and it is really easy to give yourself a chemical burn or worse, burn your hair to the point that breaks and end up losing chunks of hair.

If you want to just straighten it temporarily, depending on how curly your hair is, I would straighten it with a blow dryer and a large round or flat brush. Then, I would go over it with a flat iron. Good products are important for this as well. Don't do this too often or you will fry your hair.

How do you make curly hair str8?

straight iron , just remember to turn it off when your done !!

One day you will love your curls , so many ppl want curls , consider yourself Lucky !!

How do you make curly hair str8?

Use a hair straghtiner.if u have frizzy n curly hair, you might want to use Frizz Ease. It works really good. Also get a hair straightiner that u can straighten while ur hair is wet.

How do you make curly hair str8?

It all depends on your hair type, You can use a mild relaxer or press it out with a hot comb. Make sure you test your comb first when you take it off the stove with a white cloth if the cloth is brown or black it is too hot. If you do not do your own hair call a stylist for an appointment. Good Luck

How do you make curly hair str8?

I have mine chemically straightened at my salon. I then still need to use a heated hair straightener. I have tried several out there and the one that I like so fat is the new Conair Infiniti Instant Heat Ceramic Straightener. You can get them at Walmart, Walgreens, Kmart, Eckerds. It heats up in 30 sec. So far this one is my favorite.

How do you make curly hair str8?

I have been battling my curly hair all my life. I'll bet you have people with straight hair tell you all the time to be thankful you have curly hair! Hah! They don't know the hassels of it. I've tried the professional straightening at the hair salon before and it wasn't worth the price I paid because within about 2 weeks it was back to curly again, plus the chemicals damaged my hair. Of course, your hair might respond fine to it. I deal with it by rolling my hair with big curlers and sitting under a hair dryer to dry it. This helps to straighten and smooth it. I use a flat iron, too, but you have to be really careful with them. They get extremely hot and can fry your hair. In the summer when it's humid (you know what that does to curly hair) I wear my hair in a pony tail or clip all the time, it just gets too wild. Using a really good conditioner helps a lot. Sometimes when I have time, after I wash my hair I'll use conditioner and leave it in for an hour. Well, good luck! :)

How do you make curly hair str8?

I used "Frizz Ease" Serum, Max Strength. Its a tiny bottle and i think its like $8 but its worth it.

Part your hair...do the bottom first and then make your way up, use 1 or 2 pumps of the serum for every part.

After you are done with the blow dryer and your hair is pretty straight, you can either leave it or go over it with a flat iron for a SUPER straight look. I would use a ceramic iron.

And cheer up curly hair isnt that bad ;) Just get some mousse and wear it curly when you dont feel like straightening it...and dont for get the leave-in conditioner!

Do you GUYS like curly hair?

if your a guy what type of hair do you like ? do you like curly hair?

oh and do you prefer tall or short girls?

Do you GUYS like curly hair?

why are you asking people this? and why does it matter? you should be secure with who you are and shuldnt need someone on the internet to tell you that you are worth something.

Do you GUYS like curly hair?

i like curly betta but umm straight is fine too but i mean...idk..lol...i have curly hair...im mixed wit blk nd white...i like my hair...nd i dont Report It

Do you GUYS like curly hair?

i like guys with curly hair.

Do you GUYS like curly hair?

dunno i like both curly and straight and girls near my height..which is rather taller

Do you GUYS like curly hair?

i asked a question REALLY similar to yours and a lot of guys answered saying long shiny curls are hot and sexy so i luv mine and so do all the guys! ;)

plus they said different guys have different preferences and it depends on what we look like too!some look better with curls, some with straight. hope i helped!

Do you GUYS like curly hair?

I have curly hair but I straighten it a lot...and I'm pretty tall too...about 5'6.5. If a guy goes after you ONLY for your outward appearance, then they sure as hell aren't worth it. However, as a preferance, I'm sure they prefer the short, skinny, and straight-haired girls because they are really superficial.

Do you GUYS like curly hair?

yes i really do i always wanted curly hair but my parents wouldnt let me get it because they said i dont need it ive have already have good hair and they say i woulnt take care of it but yes i wanted curly hair only time my hair curls up only when i wash it

Do you GUYS like curly hair?

i love girls with curly or wavy hair and tall.

Do you GUYS like curly hair?

I like girls. Long straight hair, short curly hair, tall or short. I like girls. I'm not too crazy about overly skinny girls. A little meat on her bones without being too much overweight. A girl's personality is more important than her physical appearance. A wise old man once said..."it's nice to be pretty, but it's also pretty to be nice"

Do you GUYS like curly hair?

my brother loves curly hair on a girl. I think guys like tall and short girls, I even had a guy friend who was about 5 foot 6 and he liked girls to be taller than him. Keep in mind that the victoria secret models are tall and guys think they are sexy and yet carmen electra and pamela anderson are only 5 foot 3 and they are considered really hot.

Do you GUYS like curly hair?

yes i like curly height is not important

Do you GUYS like curly hair?

i like that long curly joint that joint be mad pretty and long hair in a ponytail on a female ya dig and the height joint it depened on dude me it don't matter they can't be no tall tall joint

Do you GUYS like curly hair?

no ugly.

Do you GUYS like curly hair?

I usually have a few curls in my hair but i recently got some staightners so i'm enjoying it straight for now.

(omg, how gay does that sound?lol!)

How can i put curly hair down w.out frizzing ?!?

It depends on where you live. If you live in a humid climate then you will definitely need more product. But here's what I do for my sister who has insanely curly frizzy hair.

When hair is wet spritz all over with a detangling spray. Comb through

Then apply a mouse with good hold

next spritz on a heat protectant.

Blowdry sections of the hair at a time with a round brush and the blowdryer pointed downwards which will smooth the strands.

After hair is dry apply another misting of heat protectant and use a ceramic straightener on it.

When hair is straight put it in large velcro body building rollers and let them sit there while you do your makeup.

Take out the curlers carefully and set with a good hairspray.

Thats if you want it straight, I'm not sure of what to do with curly hair except I like to break a vitamin A capsule and put the oil on my hair and let it dry naturally, that seems to help with frizziness. :)

How can i put curly hair down w.out frizzing ?!?

i have a exactly same hair type.

i take a shower at night.

and let my hair air dry a little bit.

and put mousse on your hair. and twist it and let it go.

then let mousse dry itself and tie your hair loose.

in the morning, you put mousse again and some hairspray!

this works great. i had this problem and could never put my

hair down. but now i can :DDD hope this helps.

aussie mousse and hairspray works greattt!!!

How can i put curly hair down w.out frizzing ?!?

I have ultra curly hair, too. I just had it cut off the other day, so now I will be blowing it straight, but it was down to my shoulders before that.

The product which works the very best for me is called Infusium 23, and I just use the leave-in conditioner. Believe me when I say that I have used just about everything else on the market. There have been some good products, but Infusium is the one I come back to again and again.

They make a whole hair care line, but I only use the leave-in conditioner. I use Pantene shampoo and conditioner, as well as deep conditioner once a week. The Infusium is just applied to towel dried hair (and not rubbed, just sort of squeeze the moisture out of your hair), and either brushed through or run through with your hands to coat all of it, and then you just let your hair air dry. No frizzies at all. It also has the benefit of leaving your hair smelling good, looking shiny, and feeling soft. It doesn't work like a mousse or hair gel, in that you cannot shape your hair with it, but they do have products which allow you to shape the curls if you want to do that. I just use it because it keeps the frizzies away better than anything else I have ever used.

And here's a nifty trick I learned by trial and error. Since my hair is so curly, it's not in well defined spiral curls, it's just a mass of curls. I learned that I can put Infusium in, and then while it's still wet, just twirl sections around my fingers to make ringlets. It dries really nicely, and you wouldn't know that the ringlets aren't natural. It sort of brings some order to the chaos ;)

So my recommendation after years and years of trial and error is the Infusium 23 leave in conditioner. As I said, I have tried everything out there, and that's the one I come back to again and again. You can get a huge bottle of it for not a lot of money, and it lasts a good long time. It doesn't leave your hair feeling weighed down or sticky--it just controls the frizz really well.

Good luck!

Oh! I found a website for them so you can find out about the products. Here's the link:

Loose Perm or wavy styling for curly hair?

My hair is naturally curly, but it is usually fairly tight curls, nothing like extreme spirals but more than a nice wave.

I would really like my hair to look something like these pics (below), can anyone give me advice on if a loose perm could do this or if there is any other way of styling it that could make my hair look like these.

http://leightonmeesterfan.net/gallery/al...

http://leightonmeesterfan.net/gallery/al...

(My hair is about her length as well)

Loose Perm or wavy styling for curly hair?

I think the girl on the picture has straight hair styled with either rollers or curling irons. A perm won't achieve this style. You could always ask your stylist though.

I would probably blow dry your hair straight and then curl it with irons.

Does any one have hair straightening tips for curly hair?

I have tried straightening my super curly hair but whenever I try to straighten my hair its all poofy and frizzy and my hair doesnt get completely straight. Any tips?

Does any one have hair straightening tips for curly hair?

Does any one have hair straightening tips for curly hair?

Does any one have hair straightening tips for curly hair?

GHD! I've never looked back!

Does any one have hair straightening tips for curly hair?

You're blessed with curly hair... please don't straighten it out! =)

Does any one have hair straightening tips for curly hair?

layer by layer by layer, small parts and go over the same part at least 3 times

hannah xx

Does any one have hair straightening tips for curly hair?

Make sure you wash your hair and dry completely. Get a good straightener turn the heat up to the max. Straighten.

Does any one have hair straightening tips for curly hair?

After you wash your hair, put in a leave in conditioner, Or go to Walgreens or Walmart and get a chemical straightener, It costs like 7 dollars, and when i did it to my hair (my hair was super curly) it mellowed it out

If you just put in a leave in conditioner it'll calm it down a little after it's straightened and make it smoother.

Does any one have hair straightening tips for curly hair?

try using a straightening shampoo / conditioner before straightening, also anti-frizz creams help too. maybe a higher heating straightener.

Does any one have hair straightening tips for curly hair?

I have really curly hair, and I can straighten it but I use a heat protection spray and bed head hair serum that makes your hair go straight. It works well! x

Does any one have hair straightening tips for curly hair?

when its wet apply serums and anti frizz cremes and gel to keep it down then blow dry it straight with a round brush and finally straighten it at least 3 times very slowly go down small parts

hope it helps

Does any one have hair straightening tips for curly hair?

You should buy a really good straightener and a serum. I use proclaim's serum. I buy it a Sally's. First you should blow dry your hair. Then, depending on how thick and long your hair is, put in enough serum. Then straighten it. I also have super curly hair and i know that it takes a long time to straighten, especially if it's thick, but "it hurts to be beautiful". Then put in some more serum and comb it really well. GOOD LUCK.

Does any one have hair straightening tips for curly hair?

The Chi is the best hair straightener out there. I have tried many different kinds. My hair is naturally wavy and it takes me about 10 mins to straighten my hair. It's a little pricey but worth every penny for the results. Here is a website of the one I use now, hope it helps. http://www.folica.com/BIG_CHI_2_Inch__d3...

Does any one have hair straightening tips for curly hair?

Shampoo an comdition your ahir well before straightening

Use a protective cream

I'd recommend (as my friend has hair like yours and this works really well) "Andrew Colling Simply no Frizz Straightener" range

It has "simply no frizz" shampoo, conditioner, serum, spray etc

Try this page

Does any one have hair straightening tips for curly hair?

She's right, the chi is the greatest invention, that or the paul mitchell. but most people prefer the chi, you can get them at trade secret salons for one hundred and thirty dollars not including tax. i used to work there and i'd recommend the one inch, although its small it gets the job done and enables you to get all the way to the root. do you live in florida because i have a brand new one never even been used that i'm willing to sell for 95 dollars

Does any one have hair straightening tips for curly hair?

Buy a very good straitner. I have a Paul Michell. I helps prevent frizz and it's specially made not to burn your hair. Do small sections at a time. Comb the area you want to straiten. While you're slowly combing, follow with the staitner. The comb is helping stretch your hair and it makes it easier for the strainer to perfectly make your hair strait.

Before you straiten your hair you can go ahead and use a smooth down oil. Not a lot because it will look as if a dog licked your hair. It's calle REDKEN "smooth down oil" I helps prevent your hair from frying and reduces frizz.

Does any one have hair straightening tips for curly hair?

Use a shampoo and conditioner that are made to smooth and de-frizz hair, then use a smoothing serum on your wet hair. Dry your hair in 2-3 layers starting from the bottom. Separate a chunk of your hair, then clip the rest up out of the way. Hold the dryer with the nozzle pointing in the direction that your hair grows (aka down) so that you don't add volume while you're drying. Once your hair is dry, do the same thing you did while drying and split into sections starting from the bottom and pinning up the rest. Spritz a little bit of spray meant to be put on hair exposed to heat on each layer as you straighten to minimize damage, then straighten in 1 inch sections, going over pieces a few times to get them extra straight. It really helps if you have someone to help you get the back pieces when you're doing this the first few times, especially if your hair is very long. Finish off by running the straightener on a low setting over the top of your hair, and running a bit more serum (2-3 drops, max) over the top of your hair with your fingers to flatten any more fly-aways. Try to do this at night so that you can sleep on it and brush your scalp's natural oils through your hair and touch up any poofy spots in the morning.

Does any one have hair straightening tips for curly hair?

no

it is IMPOSSIBLE to straighten curly hair

Does any one have hair straightening tips for curly hair?

It is hard to straighten your hair if its really curly and very time consuming. I have curly hair and I just go to the salon and get it blow dryed straight. It works for me.

Does any one have hair straightening tips for curly hair?

GHD,definetly they can be expensive but they are soooo worth it

i havent got it but my friend straightened my hair and it went proper straight man

Tip:ask a hairdresser if your not really sure.

Does any one have hair straightening tips for curly hair?

hey girl i know EXACTLY how you feel cause my hair's just like yours! This is totally works for me, and it produces sleek, silky and straight hair!! You are going to need:

A shower

A blow drier

A straightener

A boar brush

Conditioner

Ok, here's a step by step way to straighten your hair:

1. Shower, and when you're comb in some conditioner without rinsing. (Preferably straightening shampoo!) This will tame down the frizz a ton and make your hair beautifully sleek and soo much more easier to straiten! But watch out, because if you put in too much, your hair will look like a grease ball!

2. Flip your hair up and down repeatedly to shake the water out and to separate your hair from chunks.

3. When your done, clip up your hair in layers, leaving a layer down.

4. Using a boar brush, blow-dry your hair strait. Point the blow drier down from the top of your head so that it flows with your hair, NEVER have it go up because that's a one way ticket to frizz ville! Repeatedly brush your hair, pulling it so that it strait with tension, not lax.

5. When you are done with one layer, unclip another and do that one until your entire head is done.

WARNING: Do NOT leave any part of your hair wet! That totally damages your hair and frizzes it like crazy!

6. Once again clip up your hair in layers leaving one section down.

7. This time, you are going to straighten it with a pre-heated straightener. You'll discover that your hair is wayy more ready to go your way and not at all as frizzy!

8. When you are done with one layer, do another, one at a time until your hair is all the way done.

and VIOLA! You have sleek, adorable, and silky hair. Hope this helps and hope you get some more ideas!!!
