Inexpensive frizz serum for curly hair?

I would like to try an anti-frizz serum before I style my hair. I know it would be better to buy it in a salon but I already spend alot of money on mousse I buy from a salon. I wanted to try the one from garner-fructis or the john frieda serum. Has anyone tried either of these especially if you have curly hair. Thanks!!

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Use a teaspoon of every oil and honey,.... a little more if ur hair is long or a little less if ur hair is short

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed, fortify, reconstruct, moisturize, soften %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can also use a conditioner but get a light conditioner that wont wiegh ur hair down, becuz u can over condition, I use herbl essences "clean happy" conditioner.

When I do this at nite, I wake up, shampoo %26amp; condition, rinse and style as usual. Has worked for years

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

Hmm I tried sun silk anti-frizz and it kinda worked for me. It matters. It's the light green bottle.. you can buy it at drug stores. After I use sun silk, I use hairspray to keep my hair down. It really helps and I hope I helped! :D good luck! and maybe you can try head %26amp; shoulders shampoo (the pink one) it calmed my frizz!

I love the Frutics sleek and shine conditioning glaze. I have thin curly hair and I use it every morning out of the shower. I don't comb it through my hair I just use my fingers so the curls aren't pulled straight. I first thought it would be to cheap to be any good but I like it the best of any other inexpensive brand actually.

First of all I'd recommend not using mousse! It has a lot of chemicals in it that dry out hair and create frizz. I also have curly hair, and I usually shampoo and condition with Smooth Infusion by Aveda and then flat-iron it with no product. I live in a dry climate so that works, but when i lived in a more humid place I learned a lot of tricks. Gel and mousse will dry out your hair and create frizz- stay away from them! Its worth the money to buy shampoo and conditioner specially formulated for your hair- I stick with Aveda products and use Sap Moss when I'm planning on wearing it curly, and deep condition often. Anti-frizz serums are the only way to go that won't damage your hair. The absolute best I've found is called Biosilk Silk Therapy Cure Soyeuse by Farouk Hair Systems. Its about $20 a bottle at any drug store, I get it at Walgreens, and you only need a tiny dab so the bottle lasts forever. I used to use the John Frieda serum and that also worked well, i would recommend it, but it was much more expensive because you needed to use a lot more. It was lighter weight though, so if your hair is thin and gets weighed down easily go for John Freida, but if its thick try just a touch of Silk Therapy. I'd recommend anti-frizz serum with no other product, or else your hair will be weighed down and damaged and begin to fall out very easily.

Umm, Garnier's Defrizzing serum is great for frizzy hair! Also, another thing is, Sunsilk's defrizz shampoo.
