Loose Perm or wavy styling for curly hair?

My hair is naturally curly, but it is usually fairly tight curls, nothing like extreme spirals but more than a nice wave.

I would really like my hair to look something like these pics (below), can anyone give me advice on if a loose perm could do this or if there is any other way of styling it that could make my hair look like these.

I think the girl on the picture has straight hair styled with either rollers or curling irons. A perm won't achieve this style. You could always ask your stylist though.

I would probably blow dry your hair straight and then curl it with irons.
