I would really love to have curly hair...?

Okay, I would LOVE to have wavy/curly hair. My natural hair is straight. I'm looking for something simple. I'm not looking to get a perm and I really don't want to have to curl it everyday. I have some curling mousse, but it doesn't create curls, only defines any that someone would have. I tried doing "pin curls" before and it worked really well the first time, (the curls looked more wavy than curly which is what I am looking for) but every time after that the curls come out TOO curly, so I can't leave it down because they are close to my head and won't relax. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

You could try using curlers, or hot curlers. You can take a shower at night, then put them in and sleep in them.

You could try putting your hair in curlers overnight. I know it's not very comfortable but it works. Since you don't want to get a perm, maybe a curling iron?

just keep doing the pin curls but if its to curly then comb it out a little

or you could put some staying mousse stuff in, then braid your hair and leave it overnight, in the morning it comes out all wavy, lol

or yeah, a wavy perm, my sis got one, it looked nice, but you cant brush it or else ull brush out the waves, so yeah. i like running my fingers through my hair, i couldnt give up brushing it, lol

good luck! :)

Wet your whole head than braid your whole head (in singles or cornrows), put something over your head to cover it and go to bed. When you wake up, undo the braids and trust me you will see instint curls. Depending on what type of hair you have, if you have that white hair (silky or wtvr) you can comb it as much as you want.. If you have that black hair (rough but easy to comb) don't comb it too much. Hope I helped %26amp; Gud luck___xxo

Maybe with the pin curls, try pinning them more loosely, and try pinning larger sections of hair so that the curls won't come out as tight. I wouldn't do the braiding thing unless you only do two or three really chunky ones--if there are too many braids, they'll be too small and too tight, and will come out looking like you crimped your hair.

I agree with using rollers or hot rollers. But maybe you had trouble with the pin curls after the first time cuz you maybe took too small of sections to do your pin curls, smaller than the first time you did them. Try taking bigger sections, at least an inch wide/long, if not a little bigger. And don't wrap them too tightly, wrap them more loosely.

Hope that helps you!

there are some perms that are temporary and wash out in 3-6 weeks, you can look into doing that, other than that you would have to curl it everytime, there really isn't away to keep curls in for days otherwise.

you can try blowdrying your hair either upside down but put mouse in first and scruch or get a small round brush curl your hair on it like a curling iron and blowdry then i guess you can hairspray it and it will stay in or let your hair dry all natural dont blowdry dont towel dry just let it dry naturally until it is alll the way dry or curl it when your is dryer and it will stay in longer you can twist three peices of your hair then braid and it will come out realy wavy./curly the easiest ways are to atleast out a bun in when your hair is damp at night (hair should be wet/ damp ) then blowdry in the morning around hte bun (keep it in while blowdrying) to make sure its dry then let it out and you will have really pretty hair

hoped this helped

Hot curlers are ok, but can take AGES to do. Here's my tip, you know how when you plat your hair over night and then take it out in the morning and it looks curly can look a little trashy and not very nice? Well there's another way to twist your hair and leave it over night so the next day it comes out in cool ringlet type curls (not old fashioned ones, really glamorous ones).

Basically you take a peice of hair, and twist it ANTI clockwise as hardas you can. Then secure the end of it while you take another peice of hair (I usually put the end in my mouth,) with the other peice of hair, which should be the same size as the first, do the same and twist it around anti clockwise. When you've finished take the two twisted peices of hair and wrap them around each other CLOCKWISE. It'll make a weird twist thing. Put a hair band in the end and do a load more over your head. Sleep with them in and take them out in the morning.
