seriously, thinning it out will make a huge difference (i have curly hair toooooo!) it makes it nicer curls, but more defined and less 'poofy'!

if you want to keep it curly, get a shampoo for curly hair, because curly is thirsty, and shampoos and conditioners for curly hair specifically make a big difference

then get a gel or 24/7 creme to put in it and keep the frizz at bay.

if your gonna straighten it, use Loreal's downright smooth spray, and use that to blow dry straight, and for a better finish, then straighten with a good flat iron

okay.. i had the same problem.... Get layers, that'll help with the thickness, then just buy a really good straightner..... i recommend a Chi Turbo.. thats what i have and they are expensive, but their worth it

humm get a new condintoner and shampoo ask the sales person what would help your hair. they will give you a shampoo/condintoner it will make your hair smooth and not frizzy. also if you dont like it curly straighten it evey once and awhile.
