A question for ladies with curly or really wavy hair?

Hey girls :) I have curly hair (some parts are just wavy) and ive been trying to figure out different ways to style it. Ive seen SO many girls just hair their hair down n curly and it just looks so CUTE! It even has that "wet" look to it. Very nice. Do you know how i can do this without globbing mosse in my hair? Or is that exactly what i have to do? lol

i have wavy hair. to achieve that wet look:

1. wash/wet your hair

2. flip your hair over and blow dry like that

3. after a few mins, apply a curl - shaping gel (scrunch)

4. add (this is what i use) Redken curl shaping spray

do not brush!

straighten it and then curl it. Otherwise u will be stuck with a sticky globby mess of gel and hairspray,

After you wash your hair, try applying gel. Let it dry naturally about 10-20 minutes. Then dry with a diffuser. A diffuser will blow dry your waves and curls without blowing it around. I use a bowl diffuser, but a sock diffuser works pretty well too. Your hair will be pretty curly afterwards!

if your hair is curly in some parts and wavy in others, there's really not much choice but to use products.

Here's what i do:

wet/wash hair and comb out tangles.

finger comb a SMALL plam full of curl activating mousse.

flip head over, use Aussie Sprunch spray and scrunch as necessary. Spary until desired curliness is reached.

What i do after that since i have a little bit of a botched hair cut is take a few bobby pins and pin back the first inch or so of my hair at the front. it's cute, and i think i achieve the "wet" look that way.

Hope this helps! Good luck!

hey girl i hear u. what u need to do is get some olive oil in that hair and if your hair is too curly then if it is long then put it in a bun for at least a couple of days and even when u go to sleep keep it in the bun and when u wake up in the morning it will probably be messed up and if it is then tie it up again and after 3 days of doing this take it out. i wish u all the best and hope it works and let me know.

I werar the wett-look all the tmie. Thast my lazy day hairstyle.. or sexy day! I guy this gel from Sally's called Body and Volume.. its in a big black bottle..1 liter of gel and its only $5

I put that in after i wash my hair and let my hair air-dry. When you put it in, bend over so your hair is upside down..and apply it that way. When your hair dries completely its gonna lose its shine alittle, buy some shine spray (i buy some from walmart at the black hair products) and spray it in, also u can use the fructis pomade it helps hold a style and keep the shine there. When i dont want my hair to dry fast and mi going out liek to the mall, or wherever, i just put it in a clip then when itss time to get out the car i let it down and fix it with my hands. Also if you use the Gernier Wet-Gel it works too. Put it in damp hair though. Also if your hair completely dries, just add water and it will reactivate the gel as if you applied more. (sometimes i still do apply more)
