Good shampoo and brush for curly hair?

I have curly hair. The shampoo I use it great but recently I relized it made my hair really puffy in the morning and i HATE It! I used Herbal Essences so dont put that! Also..do you have any suggestions for a hair brush. The brush i use damages and makes my hair weird looking. So but the shampoo brand and brush brand and I will be very happy!!! :-]]

I have curly hair too, and I would suggest washing your hair in the morning so your curls dont get deformed or flattened while you're sleeping. Try using a shampoo thats for curly hair, like Tigi Curls Rock, or Hebal Escenses Totally twisted. Only comb your hair while its wet, because brushing it when dry will make it poofy and frizzy instead of curly. I would suggest not brushing it at all unless you have very loose curls. After shampooing and conditioning, comb through your hair with a wide tooth comb. While your hair is wet apply a light moisturizer, or if your hair is really really curly use a mousse, and then a defuser.

They have somethin called a bone-comb thats good for curly hair (they used real animal bones to comb hair back in the days.. now they just make an imitation comb of it.. called a bone comb). I've got curly hair as well, and in my case the shampoo doesn't matter much- I'll use any ol' kind that's cheap.

What is important is to use a good conditioner, and comb through your hair while it is still wet. Don't use a brush at all- it will only damage your hair and make it frizzy.

I also use a hair serum (I like John Freida's brand) while my hair is still wet, especially on humid days. Keeps the curls sleek without looking crispy.

i have long curly hair,and i use Redken fresh curls,both shampoo and conditioner.and it works perfectly for my hair.i never brush it when its dry,since that makes me lock like Diana Ross on a bad hair day;)good luck
