How do guys feel about short hair or curly hair on women?

I have become completely fascinated with the bizarro world that is Millionaire Matchmaker. I just watched an episode in which Patti, the matchmaker, told a bunch of women that if they had short hair, they needed to get extensions, and if they had curly hair, they needed to straighten it, because, according to her, men don't like curly or short hair on women. I know this can't possibly be true universally, but I wanted to take a poll and see what guys think on average.

I am not a man , but my boyfriend always told me that he did not like short hair. I never heard of them having a problem with curly hair. I think curly hair is basically based on a man personal taste, but I don't think alot of men like short hair.

i prefer longer straight hair but put up, unless they are wearing something nice then it looks very beautiful let down. anyways, i'd take a girl with short hair but it especially fits girls with very unique and crazy personalities(possibly better then long hair)...in my opinion.

i guess in a way people think it is superior. I have heard these comments before but disagree. I personally have long hair but its my choice and I dont think im superior. But I think people with shorter hair have more personality, more bubbly, more friendly etc.

bein a guy, guys don't tend to like short hair. Only certain women can pull it off ex. Halle Berry - It often makes a woman look more or less butch. Not to be in bad taste but guys like things they tend not to have such as big breasts. So long hair falls into that category
