I have curly hair I want it straight?

I have really curly hair also...there is nothing you can do permanantly and still have healthy hair. I use a straightener and use CHI silk infusion after I wash it. It keeps out the frzz and keeps it straight all day(and it still looks healthy). I also use the new dove shampoo for frizz control. :)

I have curly hair I want it straight?

you could buy a straightening iron, or you could go and get it permed straight at a good salon. it costs a lot, i think, but it lasts for like, six months.

but yeah, a CHI is the best!

I have curly hair I want it straight?

use a straightener.

and dont just get a little cheap one, get a nicer one because they do work better.

but before you straighten it, put product in your hair so it doesnt burn.

I have curly hair I want it straight?

buy a straightener. guessing it would take a while seeing as its long and curly... i would say invest in a chi. i have one my hair is really thick and is curly too. it was the best investment ive EVER made! their around 120 dollars but its WORTH IT! before my chi i had a conair and it would take forever!! my chi cuts my time in half and i get sleek, frizz free, curl free hair that stays STRAIGHT ALL DAY! i love my chi!

I have curly hair I want it straight?

I don't have curly hair but mine is really thick, frizzy, and I have alot and the best thing that works for me is my chi iron and some biosilk. Using this products leave my hair shiny and silky and it doesn't look dry, This web site has a good price :http://www.drugstore.com/search/search_r...

I have curly hair I want it straight?

Well...you are very lucky to have curly hair...i do as well.I used to straighten it every sigle day...but it killed my hair!! :) Use flat irons and straightening balms...not every day...you want straight hair, not a bald head!! :)

I have curly hair I want it straight?

If you was born with beautiful curly hair I think you should leave it alone but if you want to straighten it use a flat iron or try a vent brush and blow it out straight .

I have curly hair I want it straight?

if you want it straight on a more permanent level, try a straightener (in the same section as perms at the store).

Several of them are good quality ones. Another good store to try is Sally's Beauty Supply.

The straightener works much the same way as a perm, you comb the cream in and leave it for the specified amount of time then wash your hair.

It should probably stay straight for at least 2 months afterwards.

I have curly hair I want it straight?

I have REALLY curly hair also........BUT what I do is use a straightener (Paul Mitchell) I works PERFECT even better than CHI or any other ones...It leaves my hair felling soft and silky

I LOVE IT %26lt;3

I have curly hair I want it straight?

I have really curly hair too. It took me till just recently to finally figure out how to make it straight, and stay straight, all day. I use products by Davines (its an Italian company; i get their products at a higher end salon). I use their shampoo and conditioner and then I put in an ani frizz stuff while its wet and some shine drops, that also weigh it down a bit. Then I use a round brush to blow dry it in sections (and use a good blow dryer made with ceramic). This does take a while to get use to doing but you will only get better at it with practise! I usually part my hair in half and do parts of it at a time. After its all dry, I use a good 100% ceramic straightener (make sure you don't get a CHI, they aren't 100% all the way through. I use a bioionic straightener). After that, i use another Davines product that's called something with the name wizard in it. It makes my hair stay straight all day. It's like a thicker paste type stuff, but you only use a little so your hair still stays soft and not weighted down. I know it sounds like a lot but it works, and only takes me 30 minutes to do my hair now. I'm sure you can find similar products, I just use these because I don't want to dry out my hair. And make sure you don't get it chemically straightened. It will ruin your hair and dry it out!

I have curly hair I want it straight?

strighten it hunny. =)

I have curly hair I want it straight?

if you have a sallys beauty supply store near by or just maybe a beauty supply store near by they have several different types of flat irons or straighteners i should say that arent that much i bought a jilbere that works better than my old chi and it cost way less it gets hotter than my old chi it was only like 40 something or 50 dollars when my chi was like 200 something. you should look into it though it works great whatever you get if you do get one get one that is ceramic or titanium and has something on there to turn up the heat to how hot you want it to be like mine gets to 450 degrees F and it works great anyways you should try it though!!!

Use a flat iron that gets at least over 200 degrees. That will guarantee straight hair. Don't put any product in your hair before flat ironing. Also, for better results, straighten in small sections and comb through that section before you run the straightener through. Tip: Use a round brush at the scalp, and as you're running brush through, run the iron through that same piece of hair at the same time. It'll be straighter, shinier, and although it seems like it takes longer, it gets you better results. If you're going to make a habit of flat ironing, use a deep conditioner like Biolage. It does wonders. Also, if you want to put product in your hair for frizz, use a hair serum. Only use a tiny dab (a pinch of salt for example) at a time. If you put too much, your hair will be to shiny and look greasy. Focus on the tips of your hair because those tend to get a little frazzled. Best of luck!

You need a CHI Straightener!

*Invest in a quality flat iron. For very long hair you can opt for the wider paddle flat iron but the thinner flat irons will give you more flexibility and it works on long and short hair styles. Ask your hair stylist what brand they recommend. Avoid those sold in drug stores if you will be flat ironing regularly. The ones available through your hair stylist or a beauty supply store will last longer and will be less damaging as they have better heating surfaces and more temperature control options.

*Invest in a protective spray for your hair. (Biosilk)These are sold almost everywhere and they smooth and soften while you flat iron while protecting your hair from thermal damage. This isn't mandatory but it will help.

*Wash your hair and condition it as you normally would. Flat ironing hair can dry hair so use a deep conditioner or leave your regular condition on for a few more minutes than usual.

Using a microfiber towel or your regular towel try to get as much moisture out of your hair as possible.

Spray on an instant spray leave-in conditioner.

*Use a wide tooth comb to part and comb your hair. If you normally don't have a part do the best you can.

Dry your hair using a hair dryer and use a paddle or vent brush to get your hair as straight as you can while blow drying it.

*Brush dry hair to eliminate as many knots as possible.

Put the top half of your hair up into a bun.

*Divide the bottom half of your hair into small, thin sections. For best results use sections that are 1-2 inches wide and only about 1/2 inch thick.

*Spray the hair protective spray over the section of hair and run a comb through it to remove all knots. Hair without tangles will straighten better. The heat protective spray and the leave-in conditioner will usually help with tangles also.

Hold a a section of hair with one hand and use the other to clamp the flat iron as close to your roots as possible. Hold the hair firmly in the flat iron.

*Pull the flat iron over the small section of hair in one fluid movement. If it isn't completely straight, that's OK, pull it through again.

*Don't move jerkily while pulling the flat iron through your hair. It will leave horizontal lines indented in your hair and you will need to go over the hair several more times to remove them.

Don't be alarmed if you see steam rising from the iron or a sizzling noise. The plates are very hot and there may be some moisture left from the wash in addition to the sprays. This is normal.

*Continue to move around your head straightening small sections all the way around as you go. Then take down the rest of your hair, tie the bottom half, and straighten that portion.

*Examine your work in a mirror to make sure you didn't miss any sections. Don't forget to check the back. Now is the time to go over any missed spots or any place that is particularly frizzy.

*Play with your hair to style it. You may need to flat iron pulling the section in another direction to get it out of your face or to help it style a certain way.

Continue to style your hair but avoid spraying water or adding mousse. The water content will cause your hair to curl back up or frizz almost immediately.

*Consider using a curling iron for adding subtle curls or just wear it straight. Use a hair spray for humidity if you live in a humid area. Your hair will be prone to frizz with the moisture in the air.

Congratulations! You've gone from curly to straight! Enjoy your new style and have fun with it.Add a small amount of silicone based hair shine solution. Add only a few drops and rub between your hands and then smooth over hair. Adding too much is very easy and your hair will look greasy.

Remember your umbrella!Keep an umbrella handy. Rain will undo all your hard work and leave you with a frizzy mess. Also carry a headband with you in the summer to keep the perspiration from your bangs.

Wash your hair and it will return to normal.
